Situation/ Challenge
The Danish company and the leading Container Shipping Line both in India and globally needed to make its views on industry reach stakeholders across Government and industry for which it was important to gain visibility in mainstream media – media which did not find logistics a relevant enough story
Solution
- Mavcomm created an advocacy program to educate media on how logistics and particularly container shipping is intrinsic to business and the Exim trade
- Visit of their global CEO was used for large-format exclusive stories on their views on the sector Tactical tools like story pitches, personal and email interviews with its main spokesperson were used
- We also created speaker opportunities on relevant platforms for their spokesperson
Results
- The awareness levels amongst industry stakeholders increased and the brand’s focus on India and belief in long- term growth story was projected strongly through media. The coverage for the sector in media grew and the brand achieved the highest SOV in the competitive industry
